Testing

The high temperature material properties can be characterized with a universal testing machine with furnace and 22 creep test machines. Both, tension and compression can be applied.

  • Tensile or compression testing at ambient or elevated temperature
  • Maximum test load: 20 kN
  • Maximum test temperature: 1000 °C
  • Maximum test speed: 1000 mm/s
  • Limitation: only cylindrical specimens with thread attachment
  • Maximum thread size: M10
• Creep test machines
  • technical creep test, constant load
  • Maximum test load: 5 KN
  • Maximum test temperature: 1000 °C
  • Specimen geometry: flat or round specimens
