EuroPM 2019 Maastricht

Euro PM2019 took place 13 – 16 October 19 in Maastricht. 1100 participants from international research and industry met to discuss material development, production methods and applications in the field of powder metallurgy. Professor Broeckmann was one of the congress chairs. Four conference presentations from IWM highlighted the current work in the field of additive manufacturing and in-depth investigations of fatigue in sintered steels. Five students from the IWM also participated in the Young Engineers Day. The students were immersed in the field of powder metallurgy through basic lectures and industry tours. The Euro PM2020 will take place in Lisbon.
